Cheese experience

Experience the legendary traditions of the Entlebuch

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of milk processing and watch our cheesemakers at work. You will learn how milk is turned into cheese and mozzarella, why our cows and buffaloes are so happy, where the first buffalo mozzarella in Switzerland was made and much more.

Afterwards, treat yourself to an aperitif or other culinary delights in our bistro.

Families, individuals and small groups can visit our cheese experience at any time without prior reservation and let us spoil you in our restaurant.

Cheese workshop

After your visit to the cheese experience, get to work yourself and create your own cheese. Under expert guidance, you will learn how your cheese becomes a very special treat and is guaranteed to succeed. A lasting impression is guaranteed: You can of course take the cheese specialty you make home with you.

In the cheese workshop, you can choose to prepare a classic Mutschli, mozzarella or a fondue.

Please register at least one week before the date of your choice.

Maximum group size 15 people.
Minimum group size 6 people.

Are you alone or in a small group and would like to visit the cheese workshop over the Christmas holiday? This is now also possible on the following dates:

Mozzarella will be made on all three dates.
